World Guernsey Conference
The World Guernsey Conference and Tours were presented by the Canadian Guernsey breeders. These photos were taken during the Ontario tours. The complete tour also included a trip through western Canada, Quebec and the Maritimes Provinces. The Conference itself was held July 13-16 in Guelph, Ontario.

The Comfort Family of Ontario welcomes the group to their farm. About 35 people visited a variety of farms in Ontario. All the milk from Comfort Farm's Registered Guernsey herd is used by Upper Canada Cheese Company to make some wonderful cheeses including a new popular cheese called Guernsey Girl.
The tour group was treated to a stout breakfast by the Gordon Family. Their garage was decorated with fantastic quilts made by a family member.

The Canadian joint appraisal program, administered by Holstein Canada, explained the Canadian appraisal system to the group at Maplehurst Farm. The cow is a Challenge 2-year-old.
