The 2007 Ozark Jubilee Guernsey Sale set a new series record average when 47 female lots averaged $2,797 on May 19 in Branson, Missouri. The appealing lineup put together by Dale and Stanley Chupp included a variety of show prospects with deep pedigrees to match.

The top seller continued a growing marketing phenomenon in the Guernsey breed. Brown Eden WCF Tiller Joanie-ET joined her full sisters Rosa Linda-ET (2007 Blue Halter Sale) and Rosa Lisa-ET (2006 National Convention Sale) as a sale-topper at $6,500. This Fall Yearling, bred by Brown Eden Farm in Ontario and consigned by Walnut Corner Farm of Bismarck, Illinois, sold to the Fusilier Family of Ville Platte, Louisiana. She is a Tiller daughter from an EX-90 dam with 19,000M. Her full sister was the HM All-American Summer Yearling in 2006.

The second high seller was purchased by Land of Living Farm of Mechanicsburg, Ohio and Walnut Corner Farm of Bismarck, Illinois. Beauty View Spider Delicia is a stunning Fall Calf sired by Coulee Crest Luxury Spider-ET. She is backed by four dams with over 900F all with over 20,000M. The dam is a VG Super Lux daughter. She was consigned by Beauty View Farm of Wahoo, Nebraska, and sold for $6,300.

Rounding out the top sellers was the Junior Champion from the 2006 Mid-South Fair. Campbells Reward Maxie is a Sr. Two-Year-Old due this fall. She is sired by Arrow Head Rosenes Reward and out of a VG-85 dam and a VG-86 granddam. She was consigned by R. Stanley Campbell of Strafford, Missouri, and purchased by Katlyn Vencil of Parksville, Kentucky, for $6,000.

Animals sold to 14 different states. The sale was managed by the Oklahoma and Missouri GBA's. Stanley Chupp called the sale with Blaine Crosser making announcements. Dale Chupp and Bob Griggs took bids. Cindy and Maria Chupp clerked the sale. Sale managment also included Dave and Linda Cochard. Jason Robinson, Erica Davis, Mike Hickman, Caleb Arp and students from the sale host, College of the Ozarks, prepared the cattle for sale.
