April 10, 2009 marked the return of the Buckeye Classic Sale to Columbus, Ohio, after a years absence. 14 animals averaged $1,979. The top seller was a December 2008 daughter of Land of Living RO Levi-ET. She was consigned by Tom Derr of Carey, Ohio, and purchsed for $3,050 by Bill Hayes of Cambridge, Ohio. Selling for $2,700 was a Fall Calf from Sunrise Farm of Shelby, North Carolina. She is sired by a Luxury son and her granddam is scored EX-90 and has over 125,000M lifetime. The calf was purchased by Don and Marion Eberhard of Mechanicsburg, Ohio.

The sale was managed by The Buckeye Dairy Club of The Ohio State University and the Ohio Guernsey Breeders.
