The high sellers was a Jr. 2-Year-Old sired by Sniders Option Aaron-Et and out of Knapps Ace Tamera-ET. That makes her a maternal sister to the Res. Grand Champion of the NGS-Madison this year. She sold fresh in June for $4,200 to Spring Walk Farm of Big Prairie, Ohio. The dam and granddam both made over 24,000M, 1,000F and 775P. She was consigned by Knapp's Guernseys of Eworth, Iowa.
The second high seller was an April 2011 daughter of Spring Walk Icy Cal-ET. Her dam is Coulee Crest Chall Jeanie-ET, who was named Junior Champion of the NGS-Madison in 2009 and 2010. This year she was Res. Intermediate Champion at the MN State Fair and 4th Sr. 2-Year-Old at the NGS-Madison. The calf sold for $3,600 to Sydney Willingham of Gamaliel, Kentucky. She was consigned by Josey Morris of Lake Mills, Wisconsin.
