19 consignments averaged $1,080 in the 2009 edition of the Kentucky National Show & Sale. Moens Hot BG Whimsy, a Spring Yearling and the Junior Champion of the show, topped the sale at $1,950. She was consigned by Caleb and Trisha Nicley and Taylor Graves of Parksville, Kentucky.

The sale was managed by the Kentucky Guernsey Breeders Association. Lynn Lee called the sale, Seth Johnson made announcements and Neil Smith and Barney Hornback took bids from an enthusiastic crowd.
